Definition:

-(p^k)/ (k log (1-p))

Required:

0 < p < 1     k integer

 

Support:

k ⋝ 1

Moments:

μ = - p / [(1 - p) log (1 - p)]

σ^2 = - p (p + log (1 - p)) / [(1 - p) log (1 - p)]^2
