min

(function for equations)

 

Usage:

min (x1, x2, ... xn)

Definition:

xi s.t. (xi ⋜ xj) for all j

Required:

xi are unrestricted reals

Returns the minimum of x1, x2, … xn.

At least one argument must be passed.

If you just want the index of the minimum (i.e. its position in the list), use argmin.

Example:

min (10, 6.6, 3.4, 126, 3.4)  returns 3.4
